My name is Chrissie, and I am the founder of BioTech Careers Insider and the creator of my coaching programme called The Insider Method.
I have a BSc in Biology and 7+ years of experience hiring in a number of biotech start-ups.
I have worked within talent teams, closely partnering with hiring managers and leadership. I have reviewed 1000's of CVs, interviewed countless data scientists, ML engineers and biotech professionals to successfully hired 100's!
This journey has given me insight into how hiring decisions are truly made and why strong candidates are often overlooked during the job search and application process.

Why I do this?
BioTech Careers Insider emerged from a pivotal moment in my career: after a redundancy from a biotech company, I began supporting colleagues as they navigated their next opportunity, from CVs and LinkedIn profiles to how they positioned their experience during interviews and elevator pitches for the roles they wanted.
What I quickly discovered was that exceptional candidates were being overlooked, not due to a lack of capability, but because their impact and skills were not being communicated clearly or consistently in their applications.
